Jaguar and Gorillaz have teamed up to create a world-first ‘Gorillaz inspired’ Augmented Reality experience that connects people around the world to configure and race the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY across multiple cities in fantasy environments.
This is a global competition, we’ll inspire people from around the world to represent their country to win the chance to drive for Noodle’s all-new eSports racing team at an exclusive racing experience in New York at the Formula E & I-PACE eTROPHY season finale.
After track 1, we will bring in other eTrophy Assets, new cars (TBC), new configurator packs compiled from the history of Jaguar Racing design evolution.
This game will sit in a fan engagement platform app to build a new community managed by one channel. The platform will have the capacity to stream eTrophy live races, racing team profile/fan pages and news section. The community and fan engagement will be managed by a bespoke back-end system providing real-time data analytics.
We can engage with the community via exclusive news and content, push notifications and in-game messaging advertising.
GAME NARRATIVE
Noodle is looking to recruit new drivers for her racing team – Demon Chasers – Gorillaz’s first-ever eSports racing team. Jaguar Racing has signed her up as their new Global eDirector for its ground-breaking, mobile racing game where fans from around the world can customize their own Jaguar e-Trophy I-PACE eTROPHY vehicle and race the world’s No.1 electric car within a fantasy Gaming and Augmented Reality, Gorillaz world. You can challenge Noodle, friends & family and Panasonic Jaguar Racing drivers Nelson Piquet Jnr & Mitch Evans on global leaderboards to show the world you have what it takes to become the first member of Noodle’s eSports racing team.
THE FINAL
Noodle and Jaguar Racing will select five winners to compete in New York at a special Demon Chaser eSports finale streamed LIVE via publisher and social media channels.
The top four winners will be selected as the best performing Demon Chasers on the app. Jaguar will then surprise on the player, who has played the game and earned more rewards than anyone else, with the final place.
